Caramelized Sugar

  • Divide the sugar into 3 or 4 llanera. Heat above a stove until caramelized while spreading it evenly. Then let them cool for around 5-10 minutes. Set aside.


  • In a large bowl, mix the egg yolks and condensed milk well.
  • Then add the milk and vanilla and Ubeness extract. Continue mixing well.
  • When the llaneras have cooled. Pour in the mixture evenly.
  • Steam for around 30-40 minutes.
  • To check if it is ready, prick with a toothpick to see if the flan is stiff enough.
  • Cool the flan before serving.
